If you have an existing photography booking with me, you will have already been contacted regarding your wedding and the steps we'll take together, should you need to postpone. If you're in the early stages of planning your wedding but are unsure where current restrictions leave you, I know you must be feeling a little overwhelmed right now. Organising a wedding can be tough enough without the added pressure of a global pandemic, but it's important to stay positive.


Below I've outlined a few helpful tips to ensure your booking process is as smooth as possible during these uncertain times. Whether that's a quick question before you commit to booking, for a photography quote, or for anything else.

WHAT HAPPENS IF OUR WEDDING DATE CHANGES?


I'm very happy to move your wedding photography booking to an alternative date, should you be required to do so due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown restrictions. I'll simply move your held deposit along with any outstanding payments to match the new date, with no additional fee. Where possible, please get in touch with me before securing a date with your wedding venue as this will enable us to work together and rebook, meaning you will still have your wedding day photographed as you had planned. If for any reason you are unwilling or unable to compromise on potential dates to find a date where I am available, then you will sadly have to cancel your booking with me.


What if we decide to cancel due to our date being during a lockdown?



If your wedding date falls into a new lockdown restriction and you decide to cancel, I will respect your decision. All monies paid minus the deposit amount will be refunded. This will be to cover the time I have spent on your booking so far and complies legally with the current CMA guidelines (which you can find here).



WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE ISN’T A LOCKDOWN BUT WE HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL?


In the disappointing event that you decide to cancel your wedding altogether, but no government restrictions state your wedding cannot go ahead at the time of cancellation, your cancellation will fall under my original terms and conditions which will have been sent to you digitally at the time of booking.

Your wedding is about the two of you, first and foremost. Everything will be worthwhile when you are able to celebrate with your loved ones, in a safe environment, in the future. Until then...
