FROM MORNING PREPARATIONS...
After arriving at Watermouth Cove to begin photographing Becca & Matt's autumnal wedding, I knew this day had that extra bit of magic. After seeing the beautiful rust & maroon colour scheme, the table decorations and dried flowers, and knowing I was photographing at this stunning coastal wedding venue in Devon, I just knew this was a wedding to remember...
Keeping an eye on the weather forecast is something every wedding photographer should do, and today was no exception. Particularly when you photograph at coastal wedding venues, it's so important to keep an eye on the sunset times, tide times, and generally keep an eye on what the weather is up to.
And on this day? Yeah, you guessed it. We had weather warnings issued from the Met Office of rain and gale force winds. Did I worry? Absolutely not. Why? Because I know the wet weather plan that the three generation team at Watermouth Cove has in place is second-to-none. All it meant was that Becca & Matt got to host their wedding ceremony in the beautiful Woodland Barn, one of the licensed wedding spaces at Watermouth.

SONDER WEST PHOTOGRAPHY
Looking back at these Watermouth Cove wedding photos, I'm just so grateful I get to do this for a living, and I could hype up the Watermouth Team all day long. They will absolutely look after you and your guests from the moment you book through until the last guests check-out of their on site accommodation.
If you’re getting married here and want a photographer who’ll capture the real moments, while making sure you feel totally at ease in front of the camera - then I would love to be part of your day!
